COUTURE

stained
this is
pale
yellow brown

along
the hem
but
too nice

still
for rags
still
flowing sheer

like
the voice
on
the radio

Shae Davidson’s academic background is in history, with an emphasis on the social and educational programs of the New Deal. He currently serves as a researcher, and has worked in the past as an educator and museum director. In addition to poetry, his publications include reviews, short nonfiction, and exhibit design.
