“Lone Tree,” by Rostislav Kralik
.
.
January
snowfall like whispers
your body: old enough to
be a child of dreams
my body: a picture of
regrets
but we talk as the snow
falls
and find our epiphany:
the low moan of violins, crying
until morning

A lovely, skillfully crafted poem, up to Mr. Kelly’s usual high standards.
