I guess mebbe you better be getting me home
now, it’s getting pretty late
and I’m getting pretty drunk
and tired
I got to get back on that swaker tomorrow
and cut hay, the bank
he don’t give much of a dam
as to whether I’m having a good time
or not, he just wants his money on time
sometimes I think
if I gotta come back and wear out
another life like them Chinermens sez you do
mebbe I be the bank this time
